The National Council of Women of Finland
The National Council of Women of Finland (NJKL) is a feminist umbrella organisation for women’s and gender equality organisations. We promote human rights, gender equality, and equity.
We are the largest coalition of women’s organisations in the Nordic countries. We are a united and diverse community.
Our work is funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture, private foundations and funds, and member organisations.

Our organisation focuses on advocacy and broader societal issues. We do not handle individual cases or work directly in client services. If you need support in a personal situation, we recommend contacting local support organisations that offer direct assistance and counselling. Many of our member organisations provide such support services.
